Delete your PiecePal account and data yourself, or request deletion by email.
Option 1: delete it yourself, right now
- Sign in to PiecePal, in the app or at piecepal.app.
- Open Profile and scroll to the bottom.
- Under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
- Read what will be removed, type DELETE and confirm.
It happens immediately and cannot be undone. There is no grace period.
Option 2: ask us to delete it
If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the subject Delete my PiecePal account. We carry out the same deletion for you.
What is deleted
Your profile, receipts and their items, receipt photographs, trips, subscriptions tracked in the app, reminders, budgets, spending limits, notifications and preferences.
What stays
A split or payment tracker that other people joined continues to exist for them, with your name replaced by “Deleted user” and your photo deleted, so their share of the bill still adds up. Splits nobody else joined are deleted outright. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Subscriptions
If you pay for PiecePal Plus on the web, deleting your account cancels it immediately, without refunding the current period. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel that subscription — cancel it in your Apple or Google account first, or you will keep being charged.
